September 14, 2011 This Sunday, September 18th, CNS Opens Systems group
will be making a change to the IMAP server name for UF Exchange. This will impact
IMAP configured email clients, including Mac Mail prior to Snow Leopard and Mobile
devices not using ActiveSync or the Blackberry Enterprise Server, that are
connecting to mail.ufl.edu. The Incoming Mail Server should be changed to connect
to imap.mail.ufl.edu.
Note: This will not impact CLASnet managed machines that use Outlook as their
mail client. This change is being made to improve performance for IMAP clients that
connect to the UF Exchange mail service.

- Centralized computer networking and IP Telephony (VoIP) are coming to CLAS. Read more on the CLASnet Wall Plate page.
- Gatorlink SMTP server for off-campus email users.
